As per the mythological stories, when Bhima went to Gandhmadan mountain to get sahastradal lotuses he saw a monkey lying down with his tail spread and he was not able to collect the lotuses. He then told the monkey who was sitting there in the form of Hanuman Ji to remove his tail. Instead, Hanuman Ji told him to remove his tail, Bhima was unsuccessful in doing this.
