Maruti Stotra is a sacred and powerful hymn dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the son of Vayu (wind god) and Anjana, known for his immense strength, courage, devotion, and loyalty. He was born in Maharashtra, and hence, he also composed the Maruti Stotra in Marathi. In Sanskrit literature, the term "Stotra" refers to a poem written in praise of a deity or divine being. It is believed that Samarth Guru Ramdas was a devout devotee of Lord Hanuman, and in his devotion, he composed the Maruti Stotra.
